Youth Criminal Law

If you’re a youth (age 12-17) who has been charged with a crime, we can help you. All youth in Alberta are eligible to receive a lawyer.

Family Law

If you’re dealing with a family law issue related to children, support payments or property, we may be able to help you.

Family Violence Matters

If you’re dealing with family violence, we can help you get an Emergency Protection Order (EPO) at no cost. This order will keep a violent or intimidating family member from contacting or coming near you and your children.

Mental Health

If you are dealing with a mental health law issue, we may be able to help.

Immigration and Refugee Law

If you’re dealing with an immigration law or refugee matter, we can help you understand and protect your legal rights. We may be able to help you with:

  • refugee claims
  • detention review hearings
  • admissibility hearings
  • removal appeals from Canada

Civil Law

If you’re dealing with a civil law matter, we may be able to help you with:
  • adult guardianship and trusteeship
We are unable to assist with civil matters such as lawsuits, landlord and tenant issues, or wills and estates.
