This year Legal Aid Alberta is marking 50 years of helping Albertans facing legal challenges. As we pass this 50th milestone, we’ve reflected on our role in Alberta and updated our Strategic Plan. The essence of the plan comes down to just three words:
Quality. Access. Accountability.
As you know, the demand for legal help never stops. Many Albertans depend on us. An effective, efficient, and accountable Legal Aid Alberta strengthens our reputation and solidifies our position as a valued and needed justice system partner.
We have made tremendous strides in improving the quality of legal aid services. We will continue this critical work to provide first-rate legal assistance to our clients while maintaining the highest standards of legal practice.
Quality assurance is integral to our operations, and we commit to diligently assessing and improving our operations and processes to ensure that our clients receive high-quality legal representation.
