Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of Albertans? Join the Legal Aid Alberta Roster today!

You must be a lawyer or student-at-law registered with the Law Society of Alberta. If you live in another province, you may be permitted to join the roster.

Instructions to submit

Download and save the Legal Aid Alberta Roster Application Form. Submit the completed PDF form (and any attachments) by email to: [email protected]. Complete the online Lawyer Portal Application Form.

You will be informed of the results of your application by email in due course, which may include your selection for an interview for the Roster. 

Join the Roster as an Assistant

If you are a legal assistant for a roster lawyer and require an account for Lawyer Portal, please complete the application form, selecting ‘Assistant’ from the Type of Account’ drop-down.
