At Legal Aid Alberta (LAA), we believe that access to justice is a fundamental right and that everyone should have access to quality legal representation.

LAA is a publicly funded, non-profit organization that receives the bulk of its financial support from the provincial government. Today’s announcement of increased funding for LAA by the Minister of Justice is a welcome investment that will enable us to make an even greater impact in the justice system.

We look forward to seeing the positive effects of increased funding on our mission and continuing to work with our partners to achieve our shared vision for a better Alberta. We will always advocate for equal justice and do our part to make the legal system more equitable for everyone.
